For this exhibition I created two large scale paintings:
“When the World Wouldn’t Listen” - this was created for the campaign of ‘Paint the world orange to stop violence against women’
“Through All the Pain” - this painting is representation for all those women who are victims, survivors and helpless observers of domestic abuse.
You can read more about the significance of the paintings on my blog: https://www.pjcreations.co.uk/blogs/news/exhibition-with-vowmk-and-mkact-to-stop-violence-against-women
The paintings were then photographed and framed for the photo exhibition that is displayed in Milton Keynes City Centre from 25/11/2025 for the 16 days activism.
On 25/11 there was a vigil at MK Rose where we all gathered, heard speeches and tied two large ribbons around the pillars. We then took a moment of silence to reflect and take the White Ribbon Pledge. This is an incredible campaign - we all deserve to live this life safely and peacefully. 🧡
Abstract Painting Workshop
For this workshop I assisted Artist Jignesh Patel in teaching two abstract Ganesh painting sessions for Milton Keynes Hindu Association’s Ganesh Chaturthi Festivities!
With keen young participants, many of whom were painting for the first time, this workshop gave them a chance to explore and enhance their artistic skills.
Ganesh Making Workshop
This workshop was voluntarily led by myself and Artist Jyoti Parimi for the Sai Temple in Milton Keynes.
Throughout the day we had nearly 250 attendees over 5 sessions. We curated ten steps for the audience to follow to make with clay. You can see one of my personal creations below that we displayed as inspiration. The workshop primarily had children participating and were encouraged to make it themselves with assistance of parents or myself. This was to get the younger generation more involved in community, culture and Santana Dharma. As we made each part of Ganesha, we made sure to explain to the participants the significance and symbolisms of everything.
This made the workshop both interactive and educational.
Mandala Workshop
Hosted as part of SAAC (South Asian Artists Community), this mandala workshop was one among many that took place at the Midsummer Festival in Milton Keynes.
It was free for all and we welcomed families to come and take part together. They got to decorate wooden mandalas with colourful pens and gems. You can see the CD´s hanging in the background around the tent - these were made by myself and a few other artists in SAAC.
Kaleidoscope
This exhibition was held at the Central Library for the whole month of August. Though I was unfortunately admitted in hospital post-surgery during this time, the Mayor of MK as well as many other members of the public and artists's kind words reached me for which I'm very grateful.
My focus for the exhibition was purely black and white, so I displaced two digital drawings [Spanish Street and Oshwal Centre Temple, London - seen on the left of 'Hypnosis'] and two pen drawings ['Half and Half Wolf' and 'Designed Ganesh' - seen on the right of 'Hypnosis']. All these pieces of art can be viewed more closely on the "Acrylic and Pen" page.
Buckinghamshire Art Weeks
My first exhibition, held with other members of the South Asian Artists' Group at Westbury Arts Centre. This exhibition was held for one 9 days with many members of the public as well as fellow artists visited and observed. It was the first time I was able to talk about my work and hear comments from an audience, as well as connect with incredible local artists.
